Har’ Work: Rise of the Illawarra Hawks

Har’ Works is a feature length documentary that weaves together the narratives of the Illawarra Hawks’ past and present, leading to the club’s second NBL Championship.

In parallel, moving back and forth between past and present it tells the story of the club’s foundation, ups and downs, years as a community owned club, ownership changes, the Hawks today under Crest Sport & Entertainment's ownership and how that all led to this historic moment in the club's journey.

Woven through all of this, just as important as what is happening on the court, are stories from the Illawarra community, from long term and generational fans, volunteers and the impact the club has had on so many lives.

Writter/Director: Keean Murrell-Snape

Executive Producer/Cinematographer: Gerardo Ceres

Producers: Mariana Zurak & Julien O’Brien

Har’ Work is currently in production and will release in late 2025.

The Martin Place Project*

Martin Place is the hub of Sydney’s CBD homeless community while in contrast also being the home of luxury brands and financial services.

How, when and why did that happen?

What are the stories of the people that gather there?

How has the demographic of those people changed?

And who are the people trying to help?

This film will seek to answer these questions by talking to the homeless themselves, the support services that serve them and anyone else that can help us understand how it has gotten so bad.

Writter/Director: Keean Murrell-Snape

Executive Producer/Cinematographer: Gerardo Ceres

Producers: Mariana Zurak & Chris Vagg

The Martin Place Project is currently in pre-production.
